Co-Worker Praise

"I wanted to let you know that Kristopher and Jason booked the ABC show "Pushing Daisies." And you were right, they did beautifully. They were right on Q. the director could not have had it any easier. Thanks for all your help."
Denise (Theatrical Manager)

"I loved the costumes, but I think the pumpkin was kind of hot, because five minutes and they wanted to take it off. But it was so cute. And the other kids, too. It was such a great show for them. It’s good for the kids, too. Because even when the other kids of the people that work here come in, they feel more comfortable. They like to see other kids their age."
Maria Simmons (Mom of Jason & Kristopher, on the episode Desperate Housewitches)

"I definitely think that there’s a little bit more method in my acting these days. It’s like when I read the last scene of "Desperate Housewitches," when Wyatt is doing his school play. I actually started getting a little teary-eyed when I was reading it, because I realized that I was going to have that experience myself, and I was like, "Oh my God," It’s just hard to....You know you want them to grow up and be happy and be on their own and be individuals, but at the same time you’re, like, "Please don’t grow up! That’s my baby!" So I realized the moment Finley started walking, at nine and a half month, by the way, which was horrifying that as soon as he started walking, he was walking away from me. It’s like they take those first few steps away from you, and you’re, like, "Kill me, Kill me now."
Holly Marie Combs (Charmed co-star, on how motherhood has affected her acting.)

"The first episode of this season, I saw them actually do something!. Where Kristopher was throwing the spell. We practiced that two weeks. We were throwing spells at everything in the house. But seeing them doing it on TV... he was enjoying it. When they started this season, the first two days were awful, because I guess they forgot because it was three months. Their dad had to talk to them, but after that everything was fine."
Maria Simmons (Mom of Jason & Kristopher, on the episode Still Charmed & Kicking)

"Lately the scenes with Wyatt have been pretty good. The boys have been laughing a lot. It’s cute because they’re actually doing their gestures now, because the parents have been working with them. Seeing them doing the little gestures has been adorable."
Nancy Solomon (Script Supervisor, on the episode Still Charmed & Kicking)

"At the end where we’ve got Wyatt, who isn’t really Wyatt, it’s actually Piper, controlling all the fireballs and doing all that. Well, he wouldn’t work that day. So we have close – ups of him that were shot later with nothing around him, doing some stuff, and then we put him on a green screen and somebody ran around on the other side of the green screen and his arms were following. You cut it all together and it looks great, because his moves his hands and the fireball moves that way. And then his face, there’s something about these boys’ faces, they are so full of expression. But the expression can work for any emotion. They look at something and they’re supposed to be interested, they look interested. They’re suppose to be sad, they look sad. It’s an amazing thing. They have such big, expressive faces and eyes that it works for so many things for us. And they’re sweet kids. Great parents."
Jim Conway (Co-Executive Producer/Director)

"I knew about the girls. But until I got here I really didn’t know much about the storylines. It started to make more sense to me once I saw the kids who were playing the younger versions of Wyatt. I understood then how there was a beginning to this story I was suddenly being thrown into."
Wes Ramsey (Charmed co-star)

"Only one time, they did something with a demon there and Kristopher freaked out. After that, it was a while before he wanted to go inside again. So it’s good that they separate them. They do two different parts, the demons and the kids. I’d been letting them watch the show, and the last time they asked, "What is that demon doing there?" And now they’re asking me, "Are the demons there?" So now that they’re understanding more, but not quite to the point that they know what is going on really, I’m thinking that I’m not going to be able to let them watch the show yet."
Maria Simmons (Mom of Jason & Kristopher, on the demons on the show)

"Luckily our Wyatt’s have grown up and they’ve gotten much better. They come by a lot more and they just visit with us. They’ve gotten a lot more comfortable with us. We never shoot them now with the demons in the same room. One time we have Wyatt looking at this big, huge, ugly demon with one eye. He was actually looking at me. So I was standing there, pretending, in a very monotone voice, not scary, to get the reactions that we needed from him. If we need them to laugh, they always laugh with me. Or whatever. He would work off me."
Nancy Solomon (Script Supervisor, on how the boys give reactions)

"I am so protective. Absolutely It’s really important to me that the kids don’t have to see the demons. And our crew is so unbelievable gracious and fabulous. They’re all pretty protective. It’s not just me."
Alyssa Milano (Charmed co-star, on being protective of the children)
